Silver Jewelry Extravaganza at The Jewelry Box of Lake Forest

Celebrating 200 Years of Worship

For my church’s bicentennial, I wanted to create a video celebrating the history and the congregation that make the church so special. Throughout the summer I interviewed various members of the church, and edited their testimonies into a tribute that was shown on the Sunday of the Bicentennial celebration. Video equipment was provided by two members of the church, Eric Wertz and Gary Mote. Deb Saito, the church archivist, provided me with information and photographs. The music I used is by Kevin MacLeod.

UM is the Vehicle

American Baptist Churches wanted a video promoting their campaign, “United Mission is the Vehicle.” The video uses the metaphor of a moving vehicle to illustrate the message that members of the church are called to spread God’s message and good deeds throughout the world. They wanted the art design to have a very retro feel, and Tom DiGrazia came up with some beautiful illustrations of the vehicles they requested. I contributed illustrations of the churches, roads, and train tracks, and edited the video in Adobe After Effects.

‘We Are All Witnesses’ – Minister Lawrence Rhea

On February 22, 2015 Minister Lawrence Rhea spoke at Agape Love Ministries Intl. on the theme of ‘Witness.’ Lawrence contacted me and asked if he could use my digital painting as a visual aide in his service. The image depicted Jesus on the cross with the phrase ‘We Are All Witnesses,’ a reference to the LeBron James Nike campaign. After the sermon Ministrer Rhea contacted me and asked if I could edit the slides he used as visual aides into the video of his sermon.
